It has something to do with eyes, from the second line. The iris has white on the outside, black on the inside (third line). That's all I can think of reason-wise

Yes, that's the point. Inside its circle there's the pupil (black), outside there's the white of the eye

It's a monitor!
It has a light inside
it can change colour
open your eyes= turn on screen!
the cover is grey
not sure about the 2nd line though...
