Has anyone got any stories/ thoughts etc they'd like to share on things like the Spirit, humanity, the Gift etc?

At this moment I am actually typing soem thoughts in Word but meh not finished :/

The Gift is a term I use for the possibilty of stuff like ESP

Oh. Okay. Got it.

Well then here's a question. Now that they're able to detect really minute particles, infinitesimally tiny bits that make an atom's nucleus look like Jupiter in comparison, can we still say that if there is a spirit or soul, that it is not made up of particles of some kind?

yes we can say that it isn't particles of some kind. I'm sure you do this just to bait me, Ed

as I'm re-all-y tired right now after a 15 & 1/2hr shift (yeah really that's what commisssioning installs are like) I don't want to go into too much detail, but more tomorrow when I'm awake, and the call of Mrs Taw isn't quite so strongly alluring

she has to pay me for her Ebay habit somehow...

Well, if you consider that most of the names of the first distilled alcoholic drinks in a culture all mean the same thing, "water of life" in the respective local language involved, spirit does mean alcohol more rightly than not!

Even light has has its particles. While a form of electromagnetic radiation, as I recall, this radiation is made up of photons.... which are particles.

no, photons are not "points" they have wave like properties as well.
