WB - It's bad news. It means that people are being to take the movie seriously. That ain't good.

BEvilR is right. the reason the simpsons was so great was cos it was anti-establishment. a movie just goes against some of the principles that made the show great. (like the halloween episode "Citzen Kang". still one of my all time favorite episodes. along with "Time and Punishment"

and yes, the simpsons should be put to stud, so matt greoning and his team can start creating some other wacked ans seroisly warped show. like futurama. well not like futurama, but you know what i mean.

Why? What's wrong with Futurama? It's a great show. As a matter of fact, I am going out and buying Futurama Season 4 which comes out in Australia today. Do you have any specific criticisms of Futurama, or are you simply stating that they should create a new show because Futurama was axed and The Simpsons is going down hill?
