Simpsons Movie?

According to this article, a Simpson's movie is in production. What do you think? I will reserve judgement; for now .

That would be cool, except you can just see a shorter version of what it's to be like in a show. I bet it'll rake in the profits though. Another point for American Capitlism!

I trust the IMDB (internet movie database) for anything film related...and they can usually tell you that a film is being thought about seriously (even if it doesn't ever go into full production) at least 3 years before it would be due to be released.

There is no record of anyone thinking about a simpsons movie...and certainly not in 2006. Sorry to shatter your dreams guys, but this is fan fiction at its greatest.

Oh good, have u noticed that other than the rugrats movies all the movies based on cartoons Are quickly killed and kill the show itself, and I don't wan't that to happen to my simpsons.

The movie would seem to be a last attempt to boost declining ratings, IF it goes ahead. One of the reasons I posted this (and why there is a question mark in the title), is because I doubt that this movie will actually be made. If it is, it will definately be spelling the end of The Simpsons which, as everyone had agreed upon, should have been done long ago.
