dude u should get back into trumpet; then get a private instructor to help u, that how i got into the trumpet
the first two years i played it as an alternative to singing in school. then i realized i was more ahead of the others, except two (this was in elementary school). we all ended up getting private lessons about half way through seventh grade. and it turns out all three of us are the best in our middle school (all from the same school....the same school where the worst drummers came from lol)
and just for the record, we were the best even before private leesons

I find that if you make noise in a concrete block basement, you can only hear it if they are right on the floor above you, but if you do it upstairs, only people upstairs hear it.

@Wolfy - There is no such thing as a "bad drummer", It's all style. Wait... yes there is a bad drummer. Lots of them.

guitar is also hard to play you know!

@jake, do you by any chance have the full, original scores for romance de amor? i have the simplified version but want the full version as i want to try play along with the mp3 version on my comp.

pachelbel's cannon in D major wouldn't hurt either. possibly my favourite piece. got 2 guitar versions of it, several otehrs with different instruments and one orchestral.

i've also got a whole bunch of other stuff.

kimk - find me on msn: [email protected] i can send you the music and files.

corsair - you really should get back into the bass. its reletivly easy compared to other instruments (violin, trumpet, classical guitar.)

anyways, i figured out how to play the doom riffs so if anyone else wants them... msn above.
