V- Day!!!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

That's okay FF, you remember my comments on the general gripes thread. There are more fish in the sea, but I hate the smell of fish and the sea is polluted!

@Chips

Unless "she" also is employed, "he" ultimately pays for everything.... but it's the thought that counts.

Ihave a thought, It's called paying for being able to live AND paying for diamonds and rubies and all that jazz.

You should treat your partner as if every day were Valentine's Day! Don't look at me like that! Someone had to say it!

arrrgghhhh Esq I'm gonna be sick now...

@Fd,

Well, it is true that the idea of celebrating V-Day, M-Day and F-Day are said to be for the modern day household that is too much on the go and such but that's what the marketers wanted you to think. Hallmark Cards had a lot to do with all of these days becoming such notable dates, especially for the women.

The other motive is purely mercantile. It gets people into the stores to spend money on things that they otherwise would have foregone as being too frivolous for themselves.

Only if every day being valentines day means what Locutus said back on the first page. Now you made me say "Everyday" and skip to the last song on the CD. Actually, though, Dave Matthews Band's "Everyday" does fit what Esq is saying. "All you need is, all you want is, all you need is, LOOOOOOVE. Every day."

ff - I'm sensing some repressed violent tendancies. Go on, let them out! Just not at me .

Taw - I know, I know. But if I actually HAD a sense of humour, I wouldn't have had to post it.

but esq, ure an easy target

Post Sun Feb 08, 2004 5:09 pm

Then attacking me won't be as satisfying, will it? Have a go at Wolfy, he likes it .

My cousins see me as an easy target too. Why is that? Seriously, I really want to know. Mmm, must be a character defect .

To the most honorable Mods, may I request a "click" before the target practice begins?

Thanks one and all for your input.

The honor is mine? again? I'm demanding a raise from gibby! 50% raise from zero ought to be enough...
