Return salvo to X2 fans

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

HeHeHe, X2 got 66% in Hyper saying :

" If you have a partner, a dog, a rash or a child, then the amount of time
required in this game is not worth the effort"

And .....

" Apparently {The Developer of X2} did not see it fit to allow the player out of his/her ship, even at stations "

It did have what looked like nice graphics though ......

X-2 does apparently have 1 redeming part. According to CPU Mag, it is being used as part of a benchmarking item with 3DMark03, Jedi Knight II, Serious Sam TSE, Splinter Cell with an average frame rate of 72.5

Huh? You can get out in open space if you want. I do it often to change ships.

I give up. You people can review it all you like and listen to who you will. It's good enough to entertain me for hours and hours at a time day after day and I'm not the only one. Nuff said.

They don't require any personal info except an e-mail address to send your password to. Hardly an identity...

True, however email addresses are hot propety these days. Tell the wrong person, and you end up with 200 spam messages a day. Not that I'm accusing EgoSoft of doing that (although with the recent allegation of "spyware" it makes you wonder), however the principal of privacy is the same. I should not have to provide ANY information to a company that I have patronised by purchasing their game. Still, we're just trodding over the same ground, WB. I'm glad that you enjoy it, and I wish that I did too.
