Well, we got Sinatra, no takers for the Rat Pack? Old Dean wasn't too bad in his day.

Beach Boys: Good Vibrations - has to be one of the best pop songs ever.

The Doors: Break on through, Love me two times, Touch me

Led Zepplin: Kashmir, The Rain Song, Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Dazed and Confused, Communication Breakdown - oh sod it, nearly every song they ever wrote

Rat Pack...

Frankie,
Deano,

Of all the ones listed, if it were possible (The ones no longer with us being excepted) who would you pay to see again in one more concert.

Mine would be Keith Green. Best piano player there was. These days, Yanni for his playing, though his tickets run around $100.

Once upon a former life, I played concert tuba as well as slide trombone in a stage band. I was moderately good at the tuba ... although all marching music is pretty brain numbing for tuba players.... yes I even marched around in a uniform but ... no, it is not that wrap around thing.... that's a Sousaphone.

Oh yeah. And I was good but not stellar on the trombone. Used to play jazz rock things and many reprises of BS&T, Chicago.... stuff like that. Could carry a tune but could not sing worth a lick in front of people.

@Fd....

Keith Green. Cannot say that I know his music. From your signature, was he someone that was close to you in some way?

@Taw,

One thing that really puzzled me was what a very young and very delectable Angie Dickinson ever saw in those guys!

I'm a drummer. In my free time I play for fun on my set, but at school I play one of the veratile percussionists who plays all kinds of things that don't involve notes. I'm not very good at it though, just got the set a few months ago.

@Indy, He is or was about the best Christian musician there was. I missed out on going to his last concert in atlanta due to illness, He was killed in a plane crash one month later. He is also, the only musician that I have liked every song he wrote. They were about something, and helped in the earlyer days. So, in the christian tradition, he was my brother.

@Taw

When cool was cool. Well, I gotta say that Deano was my favorite. Frankie expected too much respect without really earning it imo. Deano just was there to have a good time. More my speed.

@Fd

I see. Thanks for the explanation.
