update on the spirit

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Sorry Taw. No, you may not. To collect, you have to be on Mars and doing it. Call me after you get there.

Mars is dead. There might be oil there though. Where's there's water, there's plankton. Plankton=oil.

I'm making record time!
If only I had someplace to be...

I find it more interesting learning about the framework of the universe eg quantum theory n' stuff rather than poking about on an old bit o' rock. Still I'm not opposed to it.

i dont need to go to Mars, i'll just run up a studio set or go the Western Aus desert, looks exactly the same. EXACTLY the same. Get my drift?

someone prove to me that its actually on Mars. how can you tell as a layman and memeber of the general public?

LOL

As a layman, no. I cannot prove to you that Spirit and Opportunity are on Mars. I haven't the resources nor the access to the necessary data to do that. So, yes, I suppose it is not unreasonable for a layman to believe that NASA could stage a big hoax and make it look real. And, most likely, staging a hoax would cost much less money than doing the real thing.

I just don't find the hoax theory to be very viable. The fact of the Shuttles, inlcuding the recent destruction of the Columbia, in my view, lend credence to the space effort being real.

No one can proove absolutely, however providing the photographs haven't been tampered with the West Australian sky is a sparkling blue, Mars is a reddish/brownish hue.
