FINALLY!

I've finally managed to get my netowrk working, with great ease and success. I couldn't be arsed with Windows 98, so I slapped Windows 2000 on both PCs in my room, which is basically Windows NT5. I set the static IPs, no DNS, no WINS, no nothing, just the IPs, and a gateway!

I've slapped Freelancer (of course), Age of Empires 1 and Rise of Rome Expansion, Age of Empires 2 and Conquerors Expansion, and Homeworld on both, and have been Freelancer ever since with my younger brother.

Thank God for the IONCROSS Server Operator, we've both been playing for like 20 minutes, and we've got 5million credits each, a Titan, 4 DIAMONDBACKS each, and 2 Tizona del Cids! WOW!

Thanks to Tawaklana and Esquilax for their help with LANs, as I didn't know about static IPs until I'd asked the Supreme Sovereigns (or Boffins?) of the Computer world.

50% of people say that AoM is crap, the other 30% say it isn't. 20% don't know and fallow the crowd (thats me).

ooh age of empires 2 and expansion- i have that game
wats ur ip--- maybe we can play against each other

i dont like that kind multiplayer setup that age of empires 2 has.
by far the best setup i've EVER seen was RA2

i am among the 5[% with DSL that doesnt want pictures with the news posts on the home page

lol AoC should be AoE2: EXP, not AoC, that'd be Age of Conquerors, which is what it isn't!
