Does anyone else think Google isn't as great as it used to be? I don't have any proof, I just feel it. It's almost like they put some sort of filter on the results.

perhaps its some sort of conspiricy by some shadowy group plotting to overthrow world goverments by controlling the media.

To tell you the truth, I haven't really noticed anything... Works fine for me.
What do you mean by "not as great"? Maybe they just started grouping the results more than before (you know the "click here for more results from <insert site name here>

maybe its because everywhere we see "ads by google" and google own SHAGLOADS of stuff now, the subtle ownership of web technologies that mean you use them far more than you thought.

also, anything that is so widely used CANT be a good thing? could it?

I don't use that thing anyway, or any of the others. I use Webferret Pro 5, it is the only search engine I consider worth using.

I agree, Google does seem to be going downhill. "ez2www.com" is alright though, but I'm not a big fan of meta-search engines.

Hey, don't insult me, I use punctuation and type in understandable laguage, well, most of the time anyways.
