No More Hubble

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

ff - Well, we all can't be as funny as you are, ff! .

Griff - Yes.

At least they are replacing the old telescope with a new one, however it is still a shame.

I read somewhere(I think) that they are stopping maintenence (sp?) on the hubble due to the streamlining of NASA's budget to allow more money for the next moon shot and mars exploration. Also once there contract is up with the ISS they are supposedly done with that too, and once they are doen with THAT they are supposed to scrap the aging shuttles (either 1 or 4 billion a year to upkeep) I think they need to save like 11 billion $$$ to make a moonbase or mars exploration "fiscally attractive" What it all means? no more kewl pics till 2011

i was in mourning for coupl'a days. boohoooo... i hope hubble falls in my back yard. i could sure use the lens - if it stays intact.

but have faith in the piece of metal and silicon floating out there... it'll hold together for at least 50 years.

Hold on folks. NASA is reviewing the situation. The <ahem> Shuttle group's looking over the problem.
