By the way, I've gone up in rank again, and although I'd usually have a new quote, apparently Stinger doesn't like them. Everyone else on TLR can to have quotes in every post even graphical ones, but not me. I still don't know why I was singled out... *Esquilax breaks off into inaudible grumbling*.

James Bond
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

People either love him or hate him, but David Niven was competent as I recall. Unfortunately, it's actually been so long since I've seen Casino Royale, so don't quote me on that!

There's actually another lesser known Bond, who played Ian Flemming's character on TV before Sean Connery ever made Dr. No. I can't remember who the actor was though.
Also, there is a Hong Kong theft of the James Bond character (one using his image and name without paying for the rights) in a film called "Mad Mission 3," which was a bad translation and should have been named "3 Mad Missions." Anyway, it was a funny Hong Kong flik where a HK spy meets James Bond underwater in James' mechanical shark. I have no clue who the actor was in that film.

Peirce Brosnan I could handle as a replacement, but not Timothy Dalton. But it is so hard when you get attached to certain actors in roles only to have them replaced. Oh well, such is life.
As far as toys go, give me the small plane Bond pulled out of the horse Trailer in Octopussy.
Finalday
"Revenge is a dish best served cold...and it is very cold...in Space... "Khan Noonien Singh"
Kahn, I'm laughing at the supieror intellect.. "Adm. J. T. Kirk"

Timothy Dalton added a good realism to the Bond character. He was straightforward and deadly, with an edge. The Living Daylights is also one of my favourite of the Bond films. The problem with Dalton and why many don't like him is that he didn't add any of the Bond charm to the role.
Sean Connery was both charming and edgy with his character.
George Lazenby was just bad, faux charming and a bad actor.
Roger Moore was all charm and no edge.
Timothy Dalton was all edge and no charm.
Pierce has a good amount of charm and edge, the best Bond in my opinion since Sean. However, the people that write the dialog for the newer films need to lay off the stupid modern day inuendos. They are terrible, for instance: While in bed with Christmas Jones, "And I thought Christmas comes only once a year." That is too explicit to be a Bond comment. That joke is what I call a "groaner."
Even during Goldfinger and the character "Pussy Galore" Sean never had a line that made mention of it, other than "I must be dreaming." It was his reaction to the name that was funny, he didn't spoil it with a crude inuendo.

Moore also never would answer Mr. Big and his alter ego about his evolvement with solitaire. He would leave it to your imagination.
Bond would even settle for a dance with Domino.
