any one here a paintball gunner?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

i tried it once but like so many other things i found it very cliquey and if you weren't "in" you were out. Besides I got chucked out for capturing people and pistol whipping them. its a good laugh if its organised properly but usually its just a load of t*ssers playing army like they were at school, sorry no offence Clone, that was just my experience when I did it for a bit. Me and my m8 took it q seriously and tried to make it as much like reality as poss but its a bit hard being told what to do by a fat photocopier salesman from Walsall when youve done the real thing. So we packed it in pretty soon, but not after we'd made them suffer.

One thing I did enjoy was when me and me m8 Karl challenged em to come after just us two, there were nearly a dozen of them (Brummies) and we spent all afternoon hiding from them and poppin em off one by one. if you know the M6 around Birmingham there's a big paintball area right by Hilton Park services, that's where we used to go. haven't done it for years

A little off topic, but it's about the same. Never done paintball, but toyed with the idea of Airsoft. Anybody ever done that?

Tried it. Especially it's fun when you can organize a good ambush. Once, me and my friend decided to have some fu with it. it was an abondones buidling. We were give one youngster yeach. I persuaded mine to tease them out by firing a few shots and the running towards my position. They followed. it was real fun to shoot them from the bushes - right in the head. Darn, that was cool. Esp. when you get to shoot sb from a close distance - leaves bruises alright. Sth to discuss when drinking afterwards

Airsofts even better when you use steel 6mm ballbearings and not the silly plastic ones, and you increase the force output of the gun <sigh> almost as good as the real thing then cos you can really get hurt, well its Air-hard i suppose. Its far more fun.

@Clonetrooper
most of the brits here don't have 19 acres of land! Most of us live in the cities or suburbs with fairly small gardens. As a comparison, most people will say I have a huge garden at ½ an acre. That's why, if or when we do play paintball, we hire paintball guns and stage the fights in specially designated woods.
I gave it a go once, good fun but a bit too expensive if you're a jobless student. I found I was very good at finding the perfect positions for cover and I was nearly always the last one standing but mostly cos I couldn't be shot at not cos I was a great shot. The best bit was at the end, we went out onto a field, split in two, and formed two parallel lines facing each other. Then we had a battle waterloo style. It hurt like hell but it was just as hilarious watching someone else take about ten shots simultaneously

well i do live in Pennsylvania and where do you live London or Birmingham? i guess its not fair but its alot cheaper here in the US so i get your point

I had a great expirince doing paint ball, went to a fairly serious place that was huge, 6 acers!! had some pretty pro guys, it was fun because I was the fastest, and so I went on scouting missinons and the like, and how most of the guys new millitary tactics so we out flanked them and it was fun. later we played a cupure the flag game and I scored. It was awsome, having like 20- 35 people on each team so you could really have some fun in terms of tactics.

I go every month or so just to relax and have fun. but never do it with really anoying fat girls , the just don't stop complaining and tou just want them to shut up so you don't get heard and shot at and You sooo want to kill them, that game I was the BIGEGST TKer of all time, boy that was fun.

If life is unfair how come I haven't won yet?
