Britain''s Best Sitcom

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

On The Buses

Post Wed Jan 14, 2004 3:27 am

on the buses, much to my disgust, didn't even make it into the top 50 - neither did "bless this house", "man about the house" or "please sir"...

Somehow, the Vicar of Dibley made it into the top 10???!!! Along with a few other choice pieces of ****.

My money's on Only Fools and Horses.

Post Wed Jan 14, 2004 4:13 am

or Dads Army, thats a total classic.

Post Wed Jan 14, 2004 4:16 am

i would go for allo allo or the good life if i had bothered to vote (mmm...felicity kendal)

@steel - I totally know where you're coming from there....aaaah felicity

@arc - don't know about spaced, but father ted made it quite high - somewhere in the top 20 I believe. The Office beat Phoenix nights though which I was quite upset about - I love the both, but I think Phoenix nights just sneaks ahead a little. I think I'm correct in saying the office came in at about 32/33 but PN only just squeezed itself into the top 50. Tut!
