Just use Mozilla (or Opera) *tips hat to Taw*. It is a great program and has an in-built pop-up killer. Well, that or just install ZoneAlarm. I have both!

ok I'd like to clarify a couple of things...I was jesting about porn sites, I need a pop-up killer for IE because I'm a web designer and therefore on the net 24/7...and believe me when I say that if I get one pop-up an hour its irritating as hell. I do use mozilla, along with several other browsers (yep taw, finally installed opera - thanks btw! ), but I have to test my sites (and those of my colleagues) on ALL browsers and platforms - or at least as many as possible.

So thats why I needed a pop-up killer for IE.

As for porn sites...I've been using the net obsessively since about 93...and before that bulletin boards....I think that by now I should know where to go if I want free porn!

Personally I prefer the real thing...I'm not getting married til september so I still have a sex life...

just watch the Opera cache settings in prefereneces, grommers, don't set it to auto if your using XP, it can hammer the drive. Knock it down to 400mb (which is waaay enough for an Internet cache, and set it not to cache any media files or compressed files, eats up cache.

No mate, I've progressed, nowadays I use "felt tip 2.0" but I had to buy "bleach pen 1.5" because I couldn't see my cursor anymore.

(god do you remember "bleach pens"??!! thats a real blast from the past for me. They were like a felt tip, but had a clear white tip and stank of bleach. If you rubbed them over your writing on paper it would rub them out like a rubber with pencil....although they tended to take out half the paper too from my recollection!)

they were good to suck on if you got bored. i've still got the burns on me tongue.
