everyone else does, it's a time honoured tradition. there's graffiti on the Pyramids going back to Greek times! half on Napoleon's Army of the Nile scribbled Henri or Francois or Marcel or other such on it. Me dad put his moniker there when he was In the British Palestine Police after the War, he counted the stones and told me where to look should I ever go myself. Took me hours in the baking hot sun (Egypt's HOT) but me found it and put it right next to his.

i also nicked part of the Parthenon, pee'd in the Colosseum and nicked a bone from the Catacombs.

lol! When I was at the Grand Canyon, I took some of the coloured rocks. Now it just sits in a box here in England.

Impressive Taw, I always take stuff from places I visit, usually just soil or rocks though. I haven't had the opportunity to plunder any good ruins, I've swiped a piece of wall from Canterbury Castle (which i've lost) and piece of volcanic rock from Edinburgh castle.

if my digital camera hadn't just packed (p.o.s.) I wa sgoing to show you the hoard of Roman coins i totally stole from a very well-know Roman site which i can't name cos i'd get in trouble. I love history, so much so i think it should belong to me!

well if you wnat to know the truth, it's the wife whow ants them! i just do the actual stealing, and then carry the stuff back through airport security and customs (but we've discussed my smuggling techniques before)
