is this going to far for a heat sink?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

You can never go to far with PC cooling. At least that is what I tell myself when I see people cutting massive holes in the sides of their cases in order to accomodate enormous platic tubes that are glued to their central heating ducts! Yes, it's true. Run the central heating fan (no heat, of course), and you have a steady flow of cool air flowing through the tube into case. Lots of dust I imagine...

FF - It looks fine, but I personally wouldn't go for that model (especially when I have a P4), but a Coolermaster Aero 7+ is a good all-round heatsink. I like the "squirrel-cage" design. No, the fan is not powered by squirrels!

I thought it was an airco unit

Deep Impact, what a name for a heat sink. It makes me think of that movie. What's the connection? (And No, I don't mean those wires )

Edit: Damn spelling.

sS - Noooooooo! I demand a DNA-test.

it makes a deep impact on heat build up maybe?

"Deep Impact" refers to the amount of damage that will be done to the MB when you next move the computer, as the weight of the heatsink will snap the CPU Socket and retension brackets in half!

Note: This has been known to happen.
