Tupac? Is he or isn''t he?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Hmmmm. Interesting.

Tupac Amaru.... alleged vindicator of the downtrodden and the ancient ways in Peru.

Tupac Shakur .... alleged poet of the gangsta life in Watts and other depressed parts of Los Angeles.

The only thing they may have had in common are head coverings made of fabrics.

So..... a very windy way of saying WTF is this thread about?

I know what Tupac Amaru means
I think it means something as Enlightened Snake or something like that.
At least that is what I read in a book

That would be the modern day separatist Tupac Amaru, leader of Shining Path, a peruvian marxist separatist group. "Separatist" because I don't know enough about him to judge for myself wether terrorist or freedom fighter. And I don't really trust the CNN to tell me

nonono, call him "separatist" or "guerilla", coz you're not sure yet. If you're sure he's bad, it's "terrorist". If good, it's "freedom fighter". If not sure yet, always use separatist or guerilla. It's more PC

Like thus? Must admit the word "terrorist" was a slip.
What? Wait! They got to me?! Raaaagh!

I was going to ask why hadn't someone killed this topic, but seeing how it has bled into world events I have to say it is quite informative and not at all annoying like I thought it would be had it been what this topic was originally about.

From what I remember seeing in the news....................

Shining Path, regardless of whether you sympathized with their cause did not follow one. They victimized the people whom they claimed to be fighting for more so than ever having protected, supported or aided them.

The Government, nasty devils themselves, pretty much delivered comparable brutality but less openly because of concerns about foreign press coverage.

Shining Path were insurgents who used terrorist tactics to try to get their way. The reason why the nasty Government won in the end is because the local population loathed the Government less than they did SP.

Tupac IS!!!

He is Gawd, Jebsu, rolled up into one. He has resurrected from the dead into a moneybus (a vampire that seduces you with fame then sucks your money).
