Exams

Tomorow, theory, car, 50 questions, at least 45 correct, sucks...

But I have to if I ever want to actually drive one.

Wish me luck.

Good Luck!

ah don't worry, my friend, it's really not hard, u'll sail it. it's nearly all very obvious stuff, like "what do u do when u come to a level crossing and the barriers down?" answer, "slowdown, stop, and put ur handbrake on." it's THAT obvious. what they're looking for is that you can control the car safely, and the questions are all mutiple choice anyway, so even if u don't know the answer, just dismiss the stupid alternatives!

Really? I thought for shure it'd be worse than that. Anyway, good luck!

Taw, in Holland, we can only answer "Yes" or "No"
Hehe, imagine this: what do you do when you accidently drive over you mother-in-law? Answer: Hit reverse

Anyways, Good luck NIckless! BTW... I figure that you're almost 18 or already 18. Am I correct?

I have taken the exam a few weeks ago, so I know what he is talking about
It sure as hell sucks, I have taken many exams so far but even where I normally am as relaxed as possible, this time I was at the dead end of my nerves

if you have studied well, and under the right conditions I think you will pass,
at least I did,

The tip I can give you is: look at the question, look over the answers and answer the question. And above all, Don't Panic!

I think you will be fine, I passed, so I think you would definately pass this exam

Yeah. Good luck then Nick.

Since being able to drive is a tangible objective, that's whats pouring the pressure on you. There's something you really want at the end of the test, as opposed to a grade point of some kind which is less tangible.

Try one of those mantra things to keep your mind "centered."

Never know. Might help.

I undertook my driving test late as well. It was unbelievably easy for me, however I imagine that it will harder for you though, as I assume that you are American, and you guys can't even drive on the left! Crazy country America...

Good luck, and try not to hit any pine martens!

I've failed my theroy twice so far. But we have it split into three seprate parts. I passed two of them, and the last one eludes me. The reason I failed it the second time was because the question delt with bike signals. And I havn't used my hand gestures since I was in Elementry school, so I guessed and guessed poorly.

But my next appointment is on the 11th.

"Theory"? What's there to be theoretical about driving practices? Or are your systems different that you have to find a solution to a given circumstance?

I was just tested on all the laws, signals, signs, dos, don'ts and I got 100%.

SS said,

Arn't those the same things?

And yes, I am tested on laws, signs, and do's/don'ts. I think It was the laws part I failed.

But the test is sitting infront of a comp, clicking A, B, or C. Much like....this

Okay, then why call it "theory"? That's what I don't get. If it is laws, dos/don'ts, actual facts that you have to know, where does the "theory" come into it?
