I have a fish tank with one goldfish. The fishtank looks almost solid as you cant visibility through the water is about 1mm, due to algae. In other words it looks to be just a green box. Sometimes we remember to throw some fish feed on the top of that little green box, sometimes we don't. Approx. every 1.5 years I stop, actually look at the fish and think - "wow, a fish" and appreciate its existance for a few minutes.

@WLB - lol i think the sewers is crowded because of me, as I always flush dead fish down the boggy crapper, lol. I did have a 9 inch clown loach, and a 7 inch tiger shark, but only because the person who gave us the tank gave them growth food, that fish farmers use to make their fish look even tastier lol. I got rid of them two tho when I moved house, and their in my mum's friends fish tank, so occasionally I'll go see how they are!

@Cardamine - That's nice that you get to see them. I wish I could go visit my Oscars (yes ff, I actualy got multiple oscars )

Clown loaches are neat... thier little feelers and the tusks on thier lower lip, the switchblade side spines, andthey actualy have SKIN, not scales. Thier mouths are just all around cool, esp when they yawn, and they dig holes if the gravel is big enough by picking up gravel one piece at a time and putting it off to the side. It's so cute ^-^

Plus, they live to be 50 or more!

@Griffon - I had a beta like that. It was in a little round bowl. I didn't really like it much because it was very boring compared to the at the time new hexagon tank. In truth I wanted it to die but couldn't bring myself to flush it.

@WLB: Im afraid that I only like fish battered with chips. Fish dont do anything, they just swim around. They're only good for creating a peaceful atmosphere. And did you know that a Gold fish can only remember something for 2 minutes! Thats why they never get bored of their tank.

Shure their good for somthing. Just like a pool is a hole into the ground into wich you pour money, a fishyank is a hole in the air into wich you pour money (and food). And it's fun to watch them swim around too. Try it.

Goldfish perhaps, but I think I have seen a bored fish. Thing stood on it's head behind a plant in the corner for nearly a week non-stop. And do you know what the first thing it did was when it came out? Had mouth s*x with another fish and laid eggs

They do that so often it's scary...

There's a joke there about animal cruelty, but I'll let Nickless be the daft one to say it.

Lol, I actually read something like: I like fish with batteries
But yeah, it would be to cruel to batter a fish, with chips no less. Better to batter a fish with microchips or something.

Ok, How's that sS? That's daft, a pun and daft once more

I didn't even know that Yanks were fishy, oh well, we got that cleared up

Edit: Damn spelling.

Never name your goldfish after yourself when you're little. It's so freaky to hear you parents telling you Jon died (if you're name is Jon, it's creepy. Mine happens to be that). Overall, I like fish. I want to water proof a room and fill it with a foot or so of water and have all my furniture float on it. Maybe have a few fish in there for good measure. --- VH16

Sometimes I think that we're god's goldfish, and nukes out toilet

I used to have fish. I had a tank in the front room (cant remember how big) which i kept goldfish in. My sister kept these little fish that looked like orange with a black stripe minnows (maybe tuxedo goldfish, as my parents called them). The little minnow-like fish tried to eat my goldfish... and caused two of my big fish to get this greenish transparentish film on them. One died... so we gave the minnow-like thing to some neighbors. It proceded to jump out of the tank and die during their one-week vacation. We went through about 7 of the minnow-things before we gave up (my little sister named them all Heidi for some reason). I cant remember what happened to all of them, but the last one decided to jump out and hit a large metal object... and it died later that day.
