Christmas wishlist

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Wolfy u are a total spammer! and I'm going to join u!

my xmas list

Ati Radeon 9800 Pro (I'm getting this for myself but some relatives r contributing to it - not very much though )

Call of Duty (looks ace!)

"Gravity's Rainbow" by Thomas Pynchon (the dog ate my old copy)

The One Ring (a proper gold one not one of those cheap imitations)

any Death in Vegas or QOTSA or Groove Armada cds I haven't already got.

Stolichnaya

Band of Brothers DvD box set (my M.i.L agreed to this on friday night, what a result! don't think she's realised how much it is yet)

a number late that says TAW4K4LNA on it

more important is what I'm NOT getting, hopefully. This year I've made a definite list of no-no's. I am going to refuse singing hamsters, soap of any description, but esp. soap-on-a-rope or bath salts, hankies, pasta shapers, cutlery, spice racks, 80's throwback clothes, sweets shaped like genitalia, musical or vibrating reindeers that poo, pointless (or indeed any) car accessories.

BUt a number late that says TAW4K4LNA on it would be very gratefully received, as would the $5000 that was up for grabs earlier

Band of Brothers

Now that's what I call a good tv show. Saw it twice.

As for my wish list: Either a Joystick with a USB plug or a computer with a gameport connection

---->>><<<-----
The Titan Flies Like A Cow
TLR: You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.
The earth isn't flat. It's round, like a pancake.

Band of Brothers is awesome. Largely 'cause Tom Hanks isn't in it. We got my dad the boxed set 4 christmas last year.

I WANT the MaximumPC Dream Machine for 2003, including the Sony WEGA.

I'll GET no PC this year. I'm going to make my current system limp along another year (now 3.5 years old) to see if the 64 bit dust settles down before Christmas 2004. Who knows, may then I'll have the money to really get a dream rig.

@Taw

Ha! I've finally got one on you there sport. I not only have Stolichnaya, I have a dozen liter bottles (6 of which are chilling away nicely in my freezer) of the pre-Confederation stuff, cyrillic labelling and all.

You may have me on those Itialian liquids but I believe I have the upper hand on Russia's water of life.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening......

My list:

Knights of the Old Republic (for PC)
Call of Duty
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Star Wars: Galaxies
Games I'd actually play on my GameCube
My own personal desktop, preferably one that costs $5000 or more
A ****load of hot clothes
Hot chix in sexy Christmas lingerie

I doubt I'm gonna get half the things on this list (hell, I know I'm not gonna get any of it). But one can dream...

aww wiz! that sounds like the beginning of a cheesy christmas movie! ya never know, you may get visited by three ghosts on christmas eve, that proceed to show you the error of your ways and make the girl-next-door instantly attractive

@taw

any Death in Vegas or QOTSA or Groove Armada cds I haven't already got

if that doesn't happen for ya, I'll set up an ftp address that you might be interested in you can call me mr. kringle.

my christmas list this year is...

"anything except socks and ill-fitting jumpers"

I'm hoping someone will buy me the indiana jones dvd boxset, but I think its just a dream...

Post Mon Dec 01, 2003 12:49 pm

My list

A set of Logitech z-680 speakers, a Nissan 350Z and a weapon of unimaginable destructive power.

Quality over quantity I always say, but I think both the weapon and the Nissan are beyond most present givers means (lousy cheap skates). Actually now I think about it, the speakers will probably have to be a present from me, to me.
