I didn't know the Irish had any air force. I thought their version of air flight was throwing airborne rocks.

Let me try to separate out bob3terd's statement:

This is what I think he is saying:

ok ill write it again (Obvious)
(The Irish Air Force) is very good
they still use propeler driven planes (Obvious)
thats ones with out a jet (No jet planes)
ok cool though you can (buy?) them (Purchase the propeller planes)
then put missile launchers on em (Real or fake missile launchers, I don't know.)
and no one can shoot the missiles because they are too slow (the missiles are too slow or are the planes too slow to handle them?)

It is a rather odd formulation of a statement. I still don't quite understand it.

what i mean is you can launch missile from the planes but not at them because the planes are to slow and how do you get pics in you signature

Sry bob, but I was under the impression that a slow object was quite suceptable to missile attack. As a matter of fact, on tv I once saw a cruise missile actualy strike a stationary target! Not shure how the missile could lock on to it tho, as it was moving so blindingly slow

Or is it that the faster planes keep passing the slower ones before a lock can be achieved?

@Ss - (lol! @Ss. must fix this) With today's stuff, they can see thier target, lock, and fire before coming in visual range.

well i cant resist this the iraqys dont even have an ir force but the americans mistoke a tornadeo(british fighter) for i raqy and shot it down there has been a iquirey but no answers yet
