Hey Wolfie, are we supposed to take all of your posts in this thread seriously? Some of the stuff you say is over the top in a way that can be misinterpreted pretty easily to indicate that you're a little short of a full deck.

It's like Taw said. Popularity only matters if the most important thing for you is being "cool." Being cool generally is what guys who aren't all that smart try to be to compensate for low cranial wattage. If you've got the brainpower the rest of this stuff is pretty trivial, at best. Find some real friends instead. Guys you can hang with that can keep up with you.

Don't go putting down early friendships! One of my best mates I met on the first day of secondary school and we've been great mates ever since. Admittedly ours started off a bit strangely by stabbing eah other with compasses just for giggles, but its been 6 years we've known each other, without this wierd allegiances games that Wolfy is playing.

Apparently, Wolfie, this whole ordeal doesn't mean much to you, because you lack seriousness in all fashions.

Thus, we have no reason to help you.

oh i'm not calling into question friendships at that age, my close circle of friends are all guys i met in my first year of secondary school. Ive been best mates with those guys for 8 years now, and i plan on being friends with them for a long time to come. Literally all my life altering experiences have occured wit these guys.

i'm just saying that friendships at that age are more times than not, not gonna last on the sheer principal that your 13 years old and NO WAY capable of understanding what the hell friendship is all about, at that age your friends are those that come over after school and do **** with you, if you so much as dont get a birthday card of a hello on the way into class your friendship is over then and there. At that age its obligitary to shift friendships like the wind, ive broken up with and got back together with my closest friends a heap of times, when you get older you kinda grow outa that though. i REALLY wouldnt dwell too much on it

dont be too hard on the lad, Arch, after all it all seems so important at that age. my daughter used to come home in tears q. often over bust-ups with bestest friends, what can u do but offer a sympathetic shoulder despite knowing its all ephemeral?

@WD, I'm not comparing u to my daughter! just using the only adolescent I happen to know well at the mo' as an example. do NOT let school stress u, if it means anything everyone else there thinks the same as u about everyone else 9and themselves) so just chill eeek I'm going into "dad" mode again.
