some friends I have!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

some friends I have!

my best friends ditched me again!!!
theres so-called friend #1 and so-called friend #2
the most important part of friendship is trust, and theyve crossed that line
the poular kids are nicer to me than them

so-called friend #1 : he usually convinces me with stupid things like "it wasnt my fault!!" whenever I ask him if hes doin anything he usually naw im gonna go home, or when i ask him if we can hang out he says "I'm busy cause my sister is doin something" and then from sources I find out hes hangin out with so-called friend #2. then he makes up a lame excuse like "u said u were gonna watche Holes!" when he allready knows that when he comes over its always what he wants to do!

so-called friend #2 : he is more straight out but he comes up with even more lame excuses.
me: can u come over this week
him: well i cant do it tomorrow cause im goin to XXXX's house, I'll have to ask my mom

{the next day}

me: did u ask
him: no
me: o, ask tonight then
him: okay

{Thursday comes}

me: did u ask ur mom yet??? I asked u to do that on Monday!
him:so....
me: ask tonight
him: (silent)

{the next day}

me: so....
him: ya
me: wat did she say?
him: no
me: why
him: ur house is too far
(WTF??)
me: dude, u went to XXXX's house on tuesday and he lives halfway downtown!!
him: so.....
*is quiet for the rest of the day*

and another one, more recent
I'm at so-called friend #2's house

me.....me
him.....so-called friend #2
mom.....his mom

mom: do u want a piece of pie?
me: no thanks
mom: r u sure?
me: naw i just had a big lunch
mom: really
me: ya im fine

{the next day}

him: my mom doesnt like u
me: why?
him: she said u were a brat to her yesterday
me: (what the hell?) dude! I was polite!! ever since u were rude enough to say that i am too rude to go to ur house i have been polite!!!
him: shut up
me: NO U SHUT UP!! f*cking b*tch! im tired of ur mom's bullsh*t! "ur too rude" ur house is too far away" "i havent seen XXXX for a few minutes" ur mom is overprotective!!
him: dude.....
me: GO TO HELL!

argh!!!
im about to teach them a lesson they'll never forget

WOAH!!!, begging your pardon.
i think its a moot point though, your 13, friendships are about as long lasting as a pint of milk in my hand. I shouldnt worry too much about fickle kids and their alliances, come next week everything will either be back to normal or youll forget what the hell happened. No run along and play in the yard.

Violence is not the answer.

There are peaceful ways to screw your 'friends'.

Just find a new group of better, more loyal friends and, together, put some frozen shaving cream in the lockers of your former friends. (It expands rapidly)

Maybe a bit of extra revenge would be to have a little note saying 'screw you' or something. Because, fo sho, you need better friends.

don't freak about not being popular Wolfy. I've spent a lifetime being the Z-list friend people call only when they want something. I've never even been SEMI-popular. it just isn't important, although at ur age u won't see it that way. just do what u want to and if ur "friends" don't want to fall in line then I'd suggest u get some new friends. I appreciate it's difficult at high-school where popularity & status go hand in hand, although i didn't go to a co-ed school so things were a wee bit different for me (and frickin' miserable) but in a couple of yrs it will all be water under the bridge and u'll wonder why u ever bothered about it.

My daughter who is 14 has been through so many "best" friends in the last few yurs I've lost track completely of who she's "in" with and who she's "out" with; but of late she's sort of settled down and the friendship dynamic at her school with her particular "group" has become more or less fixed, although she has about 3 different "groups" she hangs with depending on what she wants to do. No boys though! no doubt we shall be suffering all that nonsense in a year or two

being popular leads to misery, misery leads to depression, depression leads to self loathing, which leads to death, which screws up everything

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

what is that? yoda for the manic depressant?
