Time travel

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Time travel

You remember Lutz's topic about this... And how I said it's impossible... Well, i take it back. It is possible, and Bargib figured it out. Proof:

People Currently Online (6 known + 133 anonymous lurkers)
/-Entropy-/ (-49 min), Chetnik (-47 min), parabolix (-45 min), Plague (-44 min), shasla5 (-41 min), White Knight (-50 min),

I know, I know, I shouldn't tease people like this (especially not Commander/Editor in Chief), but this was way too...fun?..."cool"? to miss out. I meant no harm nor insult, I just thought it was interesting (that's the word!) so I posted this. Hope noone takes it seriously.
BTW if this is not a bug, can I use the time machine? I need to fix a few thingies...

EDIT: Man! Am I stupid or what? It's not a bug, it's a 'daylight saving change' side effect... Oh, well, guess we'll have to leave the past intact...

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

ah TLR more useful than a PDA. i didnt even KNOW the clocks had gone back until I read it here.

waaaaayyyyy back when i was a kid and we didnt have 24hr tv programming, we had "closedown" The BBC world would be spinning, the announcer would say goodnight and the national anthem would play, and you'd be politely informed to reset your clocks if it was appropriate. now u have to think for urself and I always forget

Same here, only with US flag or station ID. {rant} But now we have to deal with the smegging news programs on every network channel making a damn news story about something that occurs every year!

They sit and discuss recurring events like morons. "Yes the time will change, for those of you who have a hard time remembering its spring forward and fall back." "I know I always get that screwed up." "It is a helpful little device to remember the changing of times"

Then there are the other things they report every year now. Like what smegging school supplies you need for your children, as if it really ever changes that much year to year. AND lets not forget, the schools here always provide a BLEEPING list anyway!!! Also, every year they have those stupid news reports on holiday weekends about "be careful there's going to be lots of traffic on the roads as people go to their blah blah blah." Uhh, yeah I know there will be. On long weekends its only common sense to make the most of it and others will do it too.

Or worse yet those stupid reports near the end of every year saying "Be careful driving this new year's day as many people drink alcohol and the number of alcohol related deaths increase on the roads." NO BLEEPING ****!!!!! They've only been saying it every year for forever! If you're old enough to drive and you didn't know this, you deserve to DIE!!!

This rant really isn't time travel, because it mimics time standing still without progression. Perhaps like Groundhog Day when everything repeats over and over and over again.

Lighten up Killzone. Don't worry.

Post Mon Oct 27, 2003 7:24 pm

@BlazeME, he's always like that. Moments of levity cause him pain, so he must be hostile to feel normal.

@Killzone, "getting to me"? How could that be, you're hardly on anymore. If anything, I am suffering from Killzone withdrawal.
