never fear Loc, I have done sth equally if not more stupid today. I've been screaming for 1/2 hr at my PC because I couldn't get any sound, jumping up and down on the floor having an eppy, broke one of the wife's fav. Aynsley plates by throwing something across the room, then realised the headphones were on "mute"

thats pretty dumb, and I've had to spend £75 getting her a replacement off Ebay, but she's still not spking to me (Knew some good would come of it!)

edit: anyone recommend a good anger management course? its the £75 I'm bothered about

OK with the probs sorted out this can be used to give players a few tips

u got to get rid of a car for Salvatore, biggest mafia boss on Portland, after completing his missions. the cars booby trapped. u get tipped off. u'll be directed to a hideout and a new contact, from the Yakuza. this allows u to cross the callahan bridge to Staunton where u'll be working for the Yakuza. ur missons for Salvatore pretty much force u to leave Portland anyway. u got to complete ur missions for all the Mafia bosses then take this last one, otherwise the bridge isnt available to u.

And something else:
Do you get to work for the cartels? and is the yakuza going to dump you like the
maffia did

and most important can you continue to play after you did all of the missions?

yes to all three. u can also do whatever u want between missions but obv. this may affect ur rep later on esp. as regards ur wanted level, missions are a bit hard when uv still got the cops n badguys on ur tail from your last freeform bloodfest. bit like, oh, some other game u might know FreeLancer? something like that?

there are a couple of useful GTA3 mods I alwasy use, my fav. is the one that changes the clonky radar into cool GPSS style and icons, much easier to read. The other is the flight mod for the little plane u get to fly. my nipper just uses the cheats for unlimited ammo and weapons and health, kills everything in sight then sets his wanted level right down, oh yeah and the tank as well.

OK, I am stuck on the mission where you have to kill three warlords of the triads I can't get through I have killed two warlords but where is the third and how do I reach him

If anyone has an answer could he please post it here

One is in the area uv already been to which is offlimits to vehicles. The next is outside the fish factory and he's q well protected, it might take a few tries b4 u get him. The thirs is inside the gates of the Turtle Head fishery, shooting him is difficult so u might wannna try driving through the gates in a big vehicle or using grenades or something like that. u'v still got q a way to go b4 u get off Portland but this is one of the hardest ones u'll do there.
