Mystery Spot on Jupiter Baffles Astronomers

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Mystery Spot on Jupiter Baffles Astronomers

Jupiters dark spot

Astronomers have spotted a strange, obvious and inexplicable black spot near the equator of Jupiter. A picture of the object is circling this planet electronically as researchers scratch their heads about what they've found.

Jupiter is colapsing into a black hole. Oh well. perhaps it has darker heavier gas in there somewhere that comes up to the surface once in a while

The monolith? good! It's about time! Not like advanced intelegence to be two years late (oh wait. That didn't happen till 2061 did it?)

There are three sequels! 2010, 2061, and 3000. Go look at your local book store

Now THAT I take issue with. Yay for Dune and Frank/Brian Herbert! (woot... whats that mean anyway?)

It must be one bloody slow monolith, the one in 2010 ignited Jupiter in under 24 hours.

Still, if it is, i agree with Taw

The speed might be contributed to the fact that it was deployed 7 years earlier than expected, Alien Tech may have not advenced sufficiently in that time and they were pressed by thier alien commanders to screw us up indirectly more quickly.

anyway...

I think we should send Roy Scheider to go and have a look, he hasn't had much work since Seaquest DSV ended
