These hackers sure screwed all us over big time. Like previous posters, if they were able to put together a working model from a part of the source code, then it probably would've been released as planned. Maybe it would still have been delayed, because that's the way perfectionist developers are, but maybe it would've been less, like a month or so.

The hackers say they're trying to help us, but they sure as hell decided to screw all us eager consumers over big time.

I was looking forward to something decent for Christmas (HL2) now it'll be soap-on-a-bloody-rope and bath salts again.

Thats the thing though, we DONT KNOW how close Valve were to releasing the game. for all we know, the leak was all done by Gabe Newell to buy Valve more time. Suspiciously how it was mere days before release date that this happened. Until the truth comes out, i will endevour to play conspiracy theorist
