hyper-OS

A computer chip designed to run more than one operating system at a time could break Microsoft's stranglehold on PC software. Plans for the chip were announced last week by Intel, the world's largest maker of processor chips.

Cool, i've been running two machines (XP and red hat 9) with a switch box for my monitor, mouse and keyboard. Something like this would make life a lot easier.

Interesting. It will break Microsoft's force grip hold on the PC market for time and all eternity. Well, probably not. Windows will still probably be the most used OS out there (not sure about tha facts.)

Cool. A potential MS-Buster Sword +5 (+10 in hands of a skilled Linux/Unix user). It might come in handy... Although a 5-10kt A-Bomb is much more effective, I always liked the secret magic weapons...
