Its all a load of TOS - thats what I say
Seriously though, Star Trek is an odd one for me, I find it hard to get enthused about it nowadays, but when its on and the gf is out I will always watch it. I loved TOS when I was a kid. TNG came out when I was about 14, and I found it hilarious that the captain was bald, but about a year later when it made it to terrestrial tv I was hooked. Picard will always be my favourite captain.
I've never followed a series from start to finish, BUT I think I have seen every episode of TNG and Voyager in no specific order. Voyager's storylines always seemed to be the most compelling, even though everyone slated it, but when TNG was good it was VERY good. And the doctor from Voyager deserves a special mention too...even though every time I see him I still picture him with gold teeth in "Inner Space".
For me the best film will always be "the wrath of khan", but I've been enjoying the later ones with the TNG cast too. I really don't understand why people like "voyage home" - it just reminds me of the dodgy battlestar galactica film that came out in the early 80s.
As for Enterprise, I think collectively I've seen about 5 episodes of it, and although good I just can't get hooked to it. Enterprise was ruined for me before it started though....bad bad bad bad bad bad bad cock-rock theme tune and the guy from quantum leap as the captain?! whats all that about then? I keep waiting for Sam to walk in, tapping away at a bleeping PDA called "ziggy"
The only thing that compells me to watch enterprise is the cute vulcan bird..... one word.... hubba.
I like what I've seen of DS9, especially the shapeshifter geeza, but it never seems to be on when I'm in.
