quick question to all you techie people out there...

for some reason I can no longer access search engines from my browser!!?! (IE6) They don't even ping anymore! But all other internet access seems absolutely fine....I can surf to my hearts content. have you heard of any kind of virus that does this? Its annoying the cr@p out of me!

well grom if u will use internet explorer! i use Opera 7 as me browser and Webferret as me search engine. maybe the penguin's been sabotaging ur Pc again.

I know I know I know....but I'm a web designer so I need the fully array of browsers for testing purposes....this problem is happening on all browsers. My systems admin can't solve it, he said its definitely something that infected me on the 29th sept, but can't help otherwise...

....did you hear the one about the web designer who can't search the internet...

da*n penguins. There are all sorts of viruses out there, even one that will make desktop icons run from your mouse. I suspect you just picked one up

lol. those penguins are infiltrating every thread at the moment!

the problem with this virus is that none of our virus checkers seem to be able to recognise it....so I suppose I'm gonna have to wait for an update. If it hits the news as being the latest annoying virus, remember, you heard it hear first
