This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Yeah, well mason's character just isn't as interesting when he's coöperating.
And Kim? man is she dumb or what.

oh, I might have missed that part, but how did Tony ever get to Reza?

The allover episode was kinda boring imho, nothing realy hapened. The most sectacular part was the helicopter crash...

I still don't trust the dad, btw.

And I wish they'd given Nina's part a bit more mystery, like how in the world did she get the info out tothe terrorists. I think it's kinda easy to say she gave the info before last season. Seems kinda rushed.

Anyway, i hope next episode will be better

DAMN, i cant believe i missed this thread. Ok, so yeah, i LURVE 24, i lurve it "like a fat kid loves cake" (my what an appaling analogy Mr. Cent). So yeah, i know EVERYTHING about 24 including stupid little facts.

@arcon make sure you don't spoil season 2 for these guys, they're only up to about episode 4....oooh how their lives are about to change Mwwwoooah ha haaa!

I think my favourite scene from early on in season 2 has to be the "ok..get me an axe" scene Jack's back...oooohhhh yeah...!

I wish you guys would hurry up and finish season 2 so we can discuss it properly! Can't you write to your local tv station or something?! I could copy the dvd for ya?!

Post Mon Oct 06, 2003 6:59 pm

I did, they said I'd have it in 20 hours.
I somehow got the fealing I was brushed off there...

I'm gonna forget the spoiler Arcon sneaked in because of his childish enthausiasm (as a fat kid with cake )

Gotta wait a whole week for ep. 5, *sigh*

I'm sure arcon resents that comment. lol.

there was no spoiler in my comment! it was at the end of either episode 2 or episode 1? The axe? The interview?

Post Tue Oct 07, 2003 12:01 pm

oh, must have blinked.

Post Tue Oct 07, 2003 1:59 pm

But hey, we can discuss the pro's and con's of season one cant we? like where the hell is Johnathan? And why the hell did Jamie set up Nina on the Keycard thing if Nina herself was a mole? And why was Ted Coffel working for the drazens? Why did he have a natural serbian accent when he lived his whole life in the US? all good questions.

all very good questions there arcon...along with...."and why did they get rid of the two cute action-lesbians from the beginning of season 1 so fast?!" something that prayed on my mind for a very long time I tell ya...

Post Tue Oct 07, 2003 2:45 pm

I don't think Jamie knew Nina was a mole. You should be asking why the Drazens told Bauer to KILL Nina? how would they know that Jack would fake the kill? pretty big gamble there. Now try and explain that.

Post Tue Oct 07, 2003 2:56 pm

I think thats self-explanatory. Nina, like most of the people in 24 - no matter what side you're on, is totally expendable. There are always a bigger fish to fry.

That is possible, and very clever indeed - use the Bauer mole to get rid of the Nina mole and cover all tracks. But then Nina is an idiot. Why would she continue helping the Drazens AFTER they ordered Bauer her termination?

Post Tue Oct 07, 2003 6:15 pm

possibly for her own gain....there are so many things in 24 that they leave to your own imagination...thats why I love it so much

who knows? maybe she knows someone higher?

Post Wed Oct 08, 2003 5:41 pm

simple, ira gaines didnt know that nina (Yelena) was a mole. she worked for andre drazen directly. Nina didnt actually recruit Jamie, in fact Gaines did that himself. If you read the official companion to Series 1, Jamies mother says that gaines posed as Jamies boyfriemd, bying her expensive things and such. So my thinking is Nina just passed along information about susseptable people to the Drazens and they passed it to gaines
