Hubba hubba.

Now back on topic...How about the girl who's getting married in the show

No, serious now. I don't really see a clear connection between the guy whos marrying her and the rest of the plot.
Sure, he's a terrorist. or so it seems atm, you know it can change around. But he has, for now, nothing to do with the rest...

Not yet. He needs a cover, and nuke in the wedding cake is a pretty good cover.

I haven't watched the second season(we have it on 1am now), but in tho first intro Jack says that its the longest day of hes life. Now I dunno about you, but here it lasts only 50 minutes and if you add up the commercials then I'd say its the shortest day of his life. And if we take it with sims style then, well their bladder seems to always be on 50%. heheee. Well I'm off to watch some more soaps.

@nickless don't worry I won't tell you....but I am interested in your theories so far...how do you think the wedding ties in with the main storyline? (this one got me completely, it just seemed to be this pointless storyline that had been tagged on - even though you know its got some relevance somewhere) Any ideas yet?

did you know they're currently making season 3?!

Btw if it is real-time (as they claim it to be) what happens during commercials? I think we can be thankful that anything important NEVER happens during commercials

In the UK, 24 is shown on BBC2, and the BBC don't have Commerical Breaks

I think this guy has something to do with the financing. Also, I don't trust the dad.
The older sister told him about it and he went all like "Oh it's nothing" and stuff. You know what I mean?

I don't trust him, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time

But come to think of it, 24 is set up to mislead you generally (they had me last year with Nina ) so the secret contact you only see calling with the sister, might be the bad guy trying to get rid of the soon-to-be husband who's the only inside the NSA has with the terrorists.

lol @steel, wot u trying to say, m8, that i have a mother-in-law fixation?

Post Fri Oct 03, 2003 5:47 pm

@nickless I was suspicious of the dad by episode 3 too...but was I right? you'll have to wait and see! Other people I had my eye on at that point were Raza (think thats his name - the guy who's getting married), the girl who played Darlene in Roseanne and for some reason Tony.

I was quite proud of the fact I sussed Nina in series 1 quite early on, but I couldn't quite put my finger on the whole conspiracy until the final episode.

You're right though - they set it up on purpose so you get totally paranoid about every character. Its so well filmed. I've seen a few interviews with the cast were they say that sometimes the editors capture looks such as when they were about to sneeze or cough and then edit them in cleverly so you think they are giving someone the evils. lol. Very very clever.

Yeah, Raza, or something.
But Tony? nah, I don't hink so. I like Tony because of our mutual dislike of what's-his-name-who-inhaled-the-plutonium, the coward.

the girl who played Darlene in Roseanne is ko-ed in the attack on CTU, so for the time being the worst she can do is kill her self

Naah, Mason is not a coward. He's just unimaginative and rigid to the max. And now that we know he's dying, I bet you he's gonna volunteer make the ultimate sacrifice at the end.

Elisha Cuthbert should just model, not act.

FF: Yeah, you can see that one coming miles away
I'd be dissapointed if he actually did, cause then i'd have a reason not to hate him, wich I kinda do.

I just think if Mason saves the day, it wouldn't realy fit into his character. Once a bastard, always a bastard, imho.

next episode coming up in 1.20 hours...

I toldja. Kim is a real airhead blonde bimbo. How is causing a panic going to help with anything?

Btw, Mason's character is comparable to Skinner in the X-Files. Skinner changed to a much likable character later in the series, and I kinda liked it. It's totally believable to make him a hero - he's got nothing to lose.
