Maths Crap

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Nonsense! Matrixes are a waste of time and brain power. With computers and spiffy graphing calculators who needs um?

Logrithams (sp) are nice, fun to play with etc.

I liked sine/co-sine stuff better tho. Now THAT is usefull stuff! I even used it to make a map in Homewordl

And Calculus, well, why you wnt to observe a curved surface as it aproaches a plane I have no clue, but it is aparently very usefull or I wouldn't be wasting a year of my life learning it. Suposidly its needed for physics....

Ok... need a new sig.... hmmm...............

I have found calculus invaluable for animation....won't hear a word against it.

Its actually incredible how often the things I learned in maths at school/sixth form have come in handy in everyday life. I can't give an example off the top of my head to tell you the truth, but I do know that I have been in several different situations where I have had to rack my brains for maths I learnt at school.

Sine and the like are the fundamentals of electricity and sound, two areas of work that I worked in for quite a long time.
