Anyone else...
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.
I like planes - the militry ones - they're the nicest killing machines. However, I could.t call myself a fan, though I occasionally make plane models. the last one was long ago though, since it's too risky a thing to do with my 3-year old son hanging around.

My dad has been in the USAF for 30+ years, so I really don't have much of a choice! I used to have all the models, but they get so dusty, and there is no easy (yes, I am lazy) way to clean them.
Plus, I would prefer the navy
Ok... need a new sig.... hmmm...............

Dude, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the Lancaster were two totally different aircraft. The B-17 was American. The Lancaster was British.

It's correctible to 20-20. My father has horribly nearsighted with glasses. With them, he has 20-10. That enabled him to fly the B-1B Lancer. Though with Canada how it is the CF-18 is the only choice you have.
Personally, I've always liked the P-51 Mustang for historical aricraft. Modern craft though, my favorite is F-15 Strike Eagle.

I would have given anything to be a pilot of a CF-18 in the RCAF, but my eyes aren't 20-20, so no chance of becoming a military pilot.

Hmmm...the B-17 and the Lancaster were planes of great reknown. Unfortunately they also had gaping defensive problems. The B-17 for a while didn't have adequate weaponry to cover the foward arc. The Germans discovered this and began nose-to-nose attacks. Luckily, the engineers corrected this by adding a chin turret to later models. The Lancaster didn't have a ball turret, even worse one was never added. The Germans constantly ripped them apart by using climbing attacks.
I've always been a fan of the B-24 Liberator when it comes to WWII heavy bombers.

Migs? Factory-new Migs or in their present state Migs?
I go for the F-15. But I saw a show that compared planes from their respective eras, and then graded their influence and power in their era. Then winner's of each era were compared on how they scored in their own era. If I remember right, the P-51 came out on top.

@steel, y m8 I really tried, back in the early 80s when I was in there was still plenty of fixed-wing left, although it soon went in the MOD cuts of the same time! also tried for subs and ASR. Did you get in finally yourself or did you skip it?
I ended up in signals for two years, not a bad mob, missed the Falklands though, we got put on StandingNavalForceAtlantic for that taking up the slack! spent most of me time relaying weather reports and spanish trawler positions (apart from 3 lovely months afterwards on Cyprus) then i left and went to uni.
