Does anyone else find there mother totally baffling?

for example, mum yells at us to come down stairs ( my sister and i ) to tidy the front room, and you know what she is doing? watching tv. another favourite is to get me to pour her a cup of tea.

as for the programs she watches, they are boring tv movies with slushy plots, and programs about babies, you know the kind, where they are being born, reminds me of the chest bursters from alien sometimes.
