the first expedition knows that they come from earth but they did not knoe about the second expedition launching caus they were cryogenically frozen, maybe

I see where you're going with this... by the time the original expedition arrives at the far-away planet, the second expedition's been there for ages. Human development being what it is, there would be very significant cultural and linguistic differences, as well as possible evolution/mutations in the gene pool.

How about if the first expedition got there before the second expedition but a third expedition was sent out before the second expedition and got there after the first expedition but then the second expedition got there before the first expedition but then the third expedition came and the first expedition wasnt there.

heh, nah, how about if the first expedition had EVOLVED differently to adapt to the new planet, and the second expedition thought that these evolved thingies were aliens and possible destroyed the first expedition.

Of course, all that would be needed to resolve the matter is for the first exp' to say "OMG WE R HUMANS 2!"

The chances of there not being anything else in the entire universe are more probable than the chances there aren't any "others" out thee. Can the fact the earth got all the pieces to fall together perfectly and that happened no where else in the universe make sense to you?

IMO there exists life elsewhere, but HIGHLY unlikely to be little green men or giant monsters with laser guns. things like bacteria for instance, or fungus. And perhaps different types of life can exist on places that are totally different to earth and its climate.

yeah but the likelyhood of encountering those aliens in our lifetime seems a bit slim, hell our space program cant see beyond sending a man into orbit (WEVE BLOODY DONE THAT TO DEATH, SEND SOMEONE TO THE MOON AGAIN!)
