This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

sci-fi discussion, if u have something wierd to in ur head p

what if in the future we sent a space ship to a planet like 500,000 light years away from earth.

and then we developed faster than light speed travel and sent another expedition to the planet.

and when they get there they think that the other life forms on the planet are an alien species but look like humans

wouldn't it be wierd?

Ummm... Right...

500,000 light years away.... Going Warp 9 (star Trek) you would go like .1 lightyears per hour, that would take you 570 years to travel that far....

A human on another planet eh?

here
less confusing
we send an expedition to a planet 500,000 light years away
about 100 years later we develop a warp drive
and forget about the first expedition
and sent another 1
by the time the first expedition gets there we inhabited the planet along with many others
and they get all confused and think the creatures they see are aliens (to them)
that look like humans
but are actually humans

I don't think we'd think there aliens. They would remember atleast.

That's what Romulans are to Vulcans, right? also similar to Space: Above and Beyond's plot.

You have a point, they are long lost brothers, Vulcans and Romulans are. I guess you could also call (not trying to be rasist, just looking back at history) the Euerpeans meeting the Africans or the Native Americans for the first time. At the time they thought each was a diffrent race.

The Romulans are an Off-Shoot Race, Vulcans who left Vulcan when they Vulcans find Peace and Logic

yea thats what i was thinking.. perhaps by some coincidence another planet formed under extremely similar conditions to our own, would produce extremely similar lifeforms.. it would get interesting...

Or Alien took some Humans away and bred with them and their offspring are out there somewhere?

Like in Stargate?

Post Fri Sep 19, 2003 4:17 pm

ok now, so far all I've heard is everyone commenting that out there somewhere is a possibility of creatures that are like humans, possibly even off-shoots of humans...right? well, let me bake your noodles a little...

...how about WE are the off-shoots. WE are the creatures that were spawned by aliens breeding with a race far away that resemble what we know as humans...why do we always count ourselves as superior? we can't even survive on the same planet as each other....

....or if you really want to cook it....

....are you sure that you are talking to real people on this forum? we sound real right? maybe your whole life you haven't left a holographic chamber the size of your living room? maybe you're the last of the humans and are being monitored by aliens?.....

...or maybe...just maybe....you're the first?

**exhales slowly** here...take a drag...pass it on...its the gooooooodd sh*t

Do you guys watch Voyager? Well, there was one Epp, called The 37s, in witch Voyager finds a planet of Humans that had been kidnapped by aliens.

Everyone knew they were all human and not aliens.
