The Bear Is BACK!!!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The Bear Is BACK!!!

You don't have to like planes to love the bear. It is one amazing plane. And the sound is amazing. It is so low, and so loud... Think Episode 1 pod racing. So cool.

Rare Bear Qualfies at 495.039 At Reno 2003

Thats where I have been for the past couple of days.

The propeller is so big that it has to take a 3-point take-off, meaning the rear tire must still be on the ground at take off, not two.

How bout a video?

At reno, The bear didnt win the Unlimited golds, but finished 2nd.

It is a highly modified Bear Cat airplane. And has been in hibernation for 5 years. But the Bear is back with a vengence!

I remember seeing those races on Discovery, isn't there like a red P-51 that owns everyone? It's name was Strider..Striker...Strager or something like that.

EDIT: Found it, Strega. Regularly kicked ass from 1987 to 2001. Any idea why it didn't race this year Xeno?

Small shure, but not THAT small. A C-5 is pretty big (aka - really super huge)

Pretty sweet plane. Has anyone else seen the biplane that has the pratt and whitney jet engine attached to the bottem of it. It was over at the Terre Haute Air Fair a month or two ago. Everyone in Europe and over seas probably havent heard of it but its one of the bigger air shows in the US. Anyway this plane is just about the coolest thing i have ever seen. When it takes off, 2 seconds after its wheels get off of the ground the pilot will hit the jet engine and the plane will go absolutely vertical into a climb and fly straight up to some high high alltitude. Its just weird to see a world war I plane fly that incredibly fast and not fall apart.

No mustang, I don't know why Straga wasnt in it. I heard a lot about it though...

Bi-jet??? Cool

What about a Semi-truck with 3 jets attached? I heard about that thing, that will haul @$$.
