I was actually considering buying that matrix game.... what's wrong with it?

Crapest Game 2003
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

oh its just awful, its like they (shiny) never made a game before. the graphics are lousy, the controlls are naff, the HUD is a bit home made, the plot is so crap you have to go see the movie just so you know whats going on. the level design is unimaginative, the baddies VERY basic and VERY repetative.
they could have done ALOT more with this game but rushed to get it out in time for the film and lost a good opertunity to create a continuation of the matrix storyline.
get Max Payne 2 when it comes out, you'll be happier. get enter the matrix when it goes budget if you really want the game for geek/fandom purposes.

i'd prolly hate the matrix since i hated the movie.. apart from that, tho its not 2003, i haaaaatttttttttteeeeeee WC3. a bit too General like. and Generals ain't too high on my list either. CS is far before '03 but i still hate it. what else.. i don't buy too many games eventho its dirt cheap here. but i'd say the Sims series seriously need to be taken out the games pool.

@arcon - im talking about my crapest game. i've bought some surprisingly good games (unless you count diplomacy, i wasted 50 dollars on that) and i have Battlecruiser Millenium....BCM isnt bad actually. Warcraft 3 and tft arnt bad either though the battlenet could use some work. I recently got morrowind and thats awesome too.

After all the hype about the game, I finally bought it, foolishly based on the review by PCZone magazine (later to realize it made its review based on the beta), it was so short and generic I was amazed they could get away with it. Sure, the graphics were very nice, but for all the pretty frills they attached to it, they couldn't cover the glaring holes in the gameplay. Plus the attempt at a new and interesting story was incredibly laughable.

Then, when you get angry, there will be sufficient room for your rage.
