I have NOTHING agains people coming in here and posting something. Albeit alot of people post a big pile of junk in here and its destroying the place as a whole, but where it might say "post whatever you like" in the description, the forum rules tell a modified story. AND you already posted this eleswhere.
I dont have a problem with you per se, its a problem with the junk posts that people post that come into their heads for a fleeting second. Like if someone was to come on, and write "clouds are very fluffy" and THATS IT it would be an absolute disgrace, 1) because you could have written it elsewhere and not have to create a spam thread, and 2) because most people are well aware of the fact and you didnt even pose a question or anything, just said a statement and left it as that.
Forums are for conversation, right? if someone DOESNT pose something to converse about then your really missing the point. Maybe if you phrased that as a question or something, this thread would be ALOT different.
I dont mean to get on a n00bs, theres been many n00bs that know how to work a forum, but its the odd few that make me mad

I first posted that in the other thread, then thought that it probably wouldn't be seen there due to the traffic volume - my mistake was not erasing the original.

Yes, I know forums are for conversation, and yes, I know how to 'work' a forum... perhaps it's a cultural difference, but it's always been my experience that a statement doesn't have to be put in the form of a question in order to invite further comment. Or, for that matter, if you feel that the post doesn't really invite further comment, well, by all means, feel free to ignore it.

I didn't write "the clouds are fluffy" or anything that can be compared to that, because that's simply not interesting. In my personal opinion, I feel that my original comment in and of itself invited further comment. I gave you the credit for being intelligent enough to see humor in the comparison I made. I simply wasn't aware that people (or at least, the more outspoken ones) here apparenty have little humor in them... I will, of course, refrain from sharing anything I find funny in the future. I wouldn't want any more flames, afterall. I get enough of that just trying to post serious comments here.

I've just never been a member of a forum before that has so many people who have such obnoxious replies. All the other ones I frequent are really quite a lot more civilized than this one. I realize that it's a high probability that most of the members here aren't ****s, and it's only a few of you who are making the rest look bad with your rude and uncivil behavior.

By the way lethal the forums do get trafficed due to the overflow from when the freelancer game was released. some stick around and become regulars and some post 3-4 or at most 16 times and then vanish.

and to that, when soemone notices your post they will allways refer to it.
example:

I say: freelancer is stupid it's nothing that it's cracked up to be

(in example) Arcon says: @Locutus, when you don't like the game then don't play it, twerp

Note that it says IN EXAMPLE and EXAMPLE it's not anything that they would say in particular but anyways,... if they find it worthy of comment they will refer to it
