Macs I guess are

+stable
+not very many crashes
+plug&play everything
+firewire
+ipod
+upgrade to 8 gigs of ram
+user friendly (what exactly does this mean)
-no games at all, whatsoever
-who needs 8 gigs of ram
-expen$ive
-all the O.K. and some Great games for PC come out on Mac 6-30 years later
-seriously, I can get the expansion for a game that just recently...wait, hasn't even come out for Mac yet

PCs
+cheap (oh yes)
+ALL the games
+highly upgradeable
+practical equipment
+new 64 bit processor (woah, i'm not going to get this thing soon but oh well)
+you learn a lot about the internals of the computer by owning one
+ipod as well
-crashes a lot
-have to "fix" it a lot (tweaking, etc.)
-you have to spend hours fixing it
-you can fix it with ease ::most:: of the time, but its kinda frustrating

So, my vote goes to the PC, for Games, and Price, good for the pc gamer
the strong points of the Mac are stability, and good for business type things

Am I right, or am I totally off?

Looks good to me, but lots of buisness software (i think) is made by smaller companies or by micro$oft, so not too much for mac. If you are doing lots of file sharing mightent a PC be better in the long run? Plus, I spend little time fixing. A good system checking program can aparently keep you pretty much problem free

ah but it depends WHY you get a mac. I plan on getting a mac when i leave uni. Macs are the best when it comes to doing creative work, handeling multimedia, making websites, photoshop-esque utilities, comics, flash movies, regular movies etc.
PC's you can use to play games, thats NOT the mac's number 1 selling point because it just ISNT optimised for it.

also, it seems like its the most original thing to do, make "switch" spoff trailers at the moment so no doubt there will be hundreds of them out there. yet all their main arguments for it are the games, i just want to re-iterate: GAMES ARE FOR YOUR PC
