Is your system HL2 compliant

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Is your system HL2 compliant

Thought you folks might want to see if your beast has the minerals with the Half Life 2 System Tester.
Having a look it doesn't appear like it's going to really need a huge amount of grunt from anything but your graphics card.

Also of note on the site it mentions that it'll be 12 chapters long at 3-4 hrs of gameplay per chapter. So that's like 36-48 hrs total, which is massive for a modern day FPS.

"Twice and Twice shall he be marked,
twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path.
Twice the heron, to name him
true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost.
Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay."

Don't mock the power of EB's mighty 450, im sure it will still be keeping pace when we are at 10ghtz.

Mines good to go, but I want to add some more RAM, and maybe upgrade my video card, and... Oh, screw it, I'll just build a new computer instead.

Graphics : You should be able to play in a comfortable resolution such as 800x600, maybie more depending on chipset.

I guess i should upgrade it. I am running a AIW radeon 7500 64Mb. I thought that would be enough, but i guess not.

EDIT:

The US release sate is on my birthday, September 30th, and the Europe release date is December 15th. The dates were mixed up I guess.
