Help Needed! Officer Down!!!

I need tech help... My Win XP pro crashed. (overheating->choppy-choppy->registry corruption->death)
I need to access my previous personal settings and documents, and since I locked them, and I reinstalled Win, it's no-no... access denied! I even used a same username as before, but I forgot my previous comp name, so now i have Cpbuja and Cpbuja.Makkina (separate class and user)
I've tried lots of things:
1. repairing win (2 methods)
2. files and settings transfer
3. booting and choosing recovery console to copy the files over and/or reroute users
I'm thinking of taking my hard drive to my friend (use him as a middle man for transfer), but I doubt it'll work. Any help is welcome. If you need additional info, I'm able to provide it. Thanx in advance.

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

Did you update the virus protection files to kill the new worm?

I'd try around the hacking websites, they spend most of thier miserable lives trying to bypass windows security.

I would say you are screwed you could try calling microsoft as a last ditch effort, but you did everything I would have.

"Twice and Twice shall he be marked,
twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path.
Twice the heron, to name him true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost.
Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay."

i'm guessing that you've used system restore or some other windows gadget.
i'd also try going thru DOS. go thru checkng every likely folder and see if you got your stuff there. i'm pretty sure DOS can bypass windows security systems tho i have nvr tried. nor do i have any files locked (how do you do that?)

@SD/Falcon: It wasn't the worm... I was rendering something in 3DS MAX, and the system crashed (due to overheating)
@Mustang: Maybe I'll try that... I do know a russian guy that happens to be a cracker...
@GE: ...Or Microsoft could send me a patch or something to bypass the security... Provided they trust me... (hardly)
@kimk: No, DOS cannot handle NTFS partitions.
Thank you all for trying , but it seems that I'm on my own this time round...

say chetnik, does your GPU support 3ds max because the last thing I heard 3ds max has sth to do with your videocard.

maybe the overheating occurred because the cooler tweaked out and couldn't support the lot

Yes, 3DS does support my vid card. First I was using D3D HAL, then I switched to Open GL ICD 1.4. The thing is, my motherboard overheated (its northbridge, to be exact)... That's probably the reason for the data corruption.(memory controler gone banana or something like that) It's 34 deg. Celsius, so no cooler is good enough... (yes, I do keep my comp. case open, and the air circulation around it is ok)
I just need a prog/util/script to take care of the NTFS permissions, and the problem is solved. Now where's that assembler?

are they made out of numbers or letters and how many because as you might know you can calculate the amounts (and the time needed to complete it.

but alass I don't know any site that has the utillities of hackers
