First unofficial ROTK trailer !

Guys, I just found the first unofficial ROTK trailer and I´ve posted the link here ! But you guys better be quick, because the link keeps changing, because this trailer had spread through several sites, but New Line Cinema is screening these sites and asking them to remove the trailer.

Bleh, didnt reveal a lot. In fact, some scenes in there were even from TTT, i think.

No it didn´t reveal a lot, but then again, it´s not the official theatrical trailer or whatever, it´s just an unofficial teaser trailer. BTW, I´m not so sure about some scenes either, but LOTR footage is always nice to see IMO.

Mmmm im so glad of these movies, the books bored me to tears so at least I get to find out the story (I only made it to Rivendale in the book) without having to torture myself by having to read tolkien's laboured description of every blade of grass and spec of dirt in middle earth.

Oh the teaser look pretty cool too.

I must partially agree with him. I coulda killed that pot-smokin' Tom Bombadil whenever he starts his singing. Other than Tom, the books were simply awesome!

Heh he, it's funny that you are mentioning Tom Bombadil FF, because I started reading the Fellowship of the Ring (after seeing FOTR and TTT) and I'm now exactly at the Tom Bombadil part. I have to admit that the Tom Bombadil part is a little bit annoying from time to time (yes the singing), but other than that, great book ! It's my goal to read all 3 books before ROTK hit the theaters.

Hang on does it get a lot better after Tom Bombadil? That section was one of the catalysts for me putting it down, maybe i'll have another crack at it after I finish my current read.

Well only one other part - after Boromir dies, you can just casually flip through like 17 pages of memorial singing by Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli. Then it gets good. Real good.

Most people I know have tried the books, but failed miserably due to the first part. It´s indeed somewhat lengthy and tiring, but you just have to sit that first part out, because after that it gets great. Only a handful of people have actually endured the first part and after the first part, the books sucked them right into the story and they marvelled at its genius. The (seemingly) neurotic, smashed and grass smoking Tom Bombadil´s rhymes and songs are indeed annoying. He´s constantly in such a damn good mood that he just HAS to use something to achieve that ! No one can be THAT happy all the time without eating out of the medicine cabinet Anyway, it gets good after that.
