They have starwars and star trek games...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

so why don't they have a Stargate game? That might be cool.

Opinions welcome, or say if you want something else made a game.

They did have a Stargate game it was on SNES.

Is there a Babylon 5 game?

And when are they going to make Freelancer: the Movie. They made Mario, Wing Commander, Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter.

actually a B% game was made and it was canned by EA (I think). The game was almost complited but it lacked publishers or EA just ran out of money... god knows. It was a good game.

I think Stargate was also out on the Megadrive

If it wasn't for the inky blackness of the night you wouldn't appreciate the brilliance of the stars...

The B5 game (Into the Fire) was made by Sierra, but when Sierra was bought by vivendi, they canned 75% of the games sierra was working on, and closed almost all developer studios down. The game was about 60% finished, including original videoseqences shot on the original sets of B5 just for the game, before they were destroyed. There were numerous attempts to finish the game, but sierra destroyed them all.. (at first, very high prize for the engine and assets, then when the developers found a new publisher who would pay that game, the Sierra execs just decided that they aren't gonna sell the assets, and after a few weeks, when the devs lost the publisher, they again wanted to sell it (but then no publisher wanted to invest money and time when everyone suspected that sierra would turn heads again.

btw, the only games that would work in Stargate (IMHO) would be a small group tactics game, or an FPS...

Or an RPG...

anyway whats megadrive?

Stargate would be on Gamecube without a doubt.

Because

A. People think gamecube is childish and so is stargate without all that bloood.

B. Gamecube owns and so does stargate.

Megadrive was the Japanese name for the Sega Genesis. At least, I think that is what it is. I could be wrong...it could have been the original Sega (Master System in the states).

How about a Mechwarrior movie? That could be cool...if they did it right. Or how about a Starcraft movie, or WarCraft? I mean, with all the buzz about the LotR movies being a big ol' hit, it would make sense for Vivendi to pony up the cash and effort and make a movie out of one of their biggest franchises (note: I said ONE of their franchises...I'm not saying it's their only one). Cheers.

From Heretic - anyway whats megadrive?

Where the F..k where you in the 90's??
Joking, but seriously the MD was an awesome machione, and I'll get totally flamed for this, but it was a superior machine to the SNES IMHO. The RPG's the Platformers, the Shooters, all were better.

Along the note of openly declaring favorites and inviting flaming...I personally think the Dreamcast was the best system there was (up until Grand Theft Auto 3 came out). It knocked PSOne all over the place, and the early PS2 games were comparable to the later Dreamcast titles. I really do think that it was the first true next-gen console. Now, if only I had it with me at work my productivity would plummet. Due mostly from Soul Calibur and PSO. Ah well, cheers.
