This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Nice one!

LOTR is better, i think, in the books. I think this way because Peter Jackson is making it different. You don't change a great story.

Orson Scott Card: Enders/Shadow Trilogy with combination of Star Ship Troops by Henlein.
This is the most close to the real world yet Future.

special effects wont cut it in sheer quality.

Stargate has become so popular that its budget now makes the show look somewhat movie-quality.

Dragaerea as detailed in the series begun with Jhereg (written by Steven Brust).

It's hard to explain why in a short post, but it is very very cool.

66hertic,

You believe that Babylon 5 is totally unbelievable because in the Earth-Minbari war, the Minbari stop after they have annilated Earth Force and are in postion to wipe out Earth. The Minbari discover that Sinclair (future commander B5) had the soul of their most holy Valen. Finding that Minbari souls inhabit human bodies and following the fact the Minbari aren't supposed to kill Minbari, they immediately stop and ask for peace with Earth.

Yeah it's unbelievable, it's science fiction. Stargate's more believable? The whole basis of the show is aliens landed on ancient earth. Establishing a stargate on earth for control of their slave colony. They used humans as slave labor. Ancient Egyptians mounted a rebel and threw off their yoke. Said stargate disappears. Now rediscovered, humans realize that they have futuristic ring that opens a worm hole big enough to travel through. The military uses it to defend Earth against wierd Old Kingdom aliens. Now Earth had contact with advanced alien cultures, but the resulting campaign goes against all military pysche. Do you think any military would turn down the chance to create a secret force of starships? Aparently not, they want to skulk around with worm holes.

Most science fiction is unbelievable. That what makes it what it is. If it were believable and realistic, it wouldn't exist.
