escape velocity nova

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Yeah, I checked this out yesterday. It's a pretty cool game. Seriously in need of a graphical and audio update though. They're worse than in Subspace which came out like in 1996. Also a bit too easy to make money. I spent an hour or two making urgent delivery runs in a heavy shuttle and made like 400,000 credits. Saving up 1 mil for a IDA Frigate and I'll deck it out before I do any of the storyline missions

I used to play Escape Velocity Override when I had a Mac. I'll have to check this one out for sure.

Though I must say, there's nothing quite like taking out the Voinian Dreadnought in a cloak-equipped UE Fighter.

got a registered copy, i remember when i was in my drugged up racing viper, the speedbreaker, had to get rid of the guns, only had a ir missle launcher, took up the rest of my free space with batteries so i could jump like 6 times to complete a special mission worth 50k. Fun stuff, especialy with the nova mega cheat *evil grin*

Kind of got boring on the second day. Once I got the Vell-os Arrow there wasn't anything that I couldn't fight without losing. Btw, I absolutely hate that when you take that mission in the bar that starts the Bureau missions, not only can't you stop but you can't even buy more equipment. I had to do all that crap in a little Heavy Shuttle with no guns.
