Nostalgia

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Nostalgia

Most of us can all remember the classic series which were once broadcasted. Some were excellent and some were highly questionable. I´m talking about series like The Knightrider, Airwolf, Happy Days, The A-Team, the first Star Trek movies (with Cpt. Kirk) and Thunderbirds. Now those were the days (although some would probably disagree).

BTW, Thunderbirds is being brought to the big screen ! (Click here for more info)

Here´s a pic:

Please share your thoughts about the classics that you remember, which ones were the best and give your opinion (if you have any) about the upcoming Thunderbirds live-actie movie.

I used to like them all too. But whenever I see reruns of those today, I think "hmmm, can it get any cheesier?" The same impression even applies to Star Trek TNG. I grew up with that series (my childhood intro to the series was Picard assimilated to the Collective and made Locutus :O) but now they all seem very cliched I guess I've outgrown them. Apologies to the rest of you, this is just MY experience. I don't mean to ruin the party.

sry, nvr heard of them

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

Land of the Giants ? Never heard of it. Tell us more about it.

I have to agree with FF to some extent. Most of these series used to be cool, but if you watch them now.... A good example is the sci-fi series V . It used to be cool back back then, but a while ago I saw them again and I almost tossed my cookies ! It looked as cheesy as the Kilrathi did in the WC movie ! (that about says it I guess )

But, there are still classics which are still good, like Married with Children That show is priceless !

I remember watching TNG when it was still new, and it was really cool, though some of the episodes do smell of cheese, mostly the earlier ones though. Oh yeah, GO A-TEAM!!!

Hopefully the Thunderbords movie will be good. Jonathan Frakes is a good Director.
